When a bushfire threatens their rural home, 6-year old Tilly is asked to help her grandmother pack important belongings into a suitcase, but through escalating tensions, Tilly must step up, confront the complexities of grief, and choose to put her Grandmother’s needs above her own.

SUITCASE is a short Australian drama that explores the maturity and emotional awareness of children. Depicting themes of family, loss and sentimentality, the story captures the stress and confusion of a home evacuation, shown through the innocent eyes of six-year-old protagonist: Tilly.
